
This is a fully supported 18 mile point to point trail event open to runners and walkers who have the physicality to cover the distance. Nowton Park in Bury St Edmunds to Clare Castle Country Park in Clare in support of St Nicholas Hospice. Fields & Forest Events will again be donating £5 from every entry fee to the hospice to support their mission. RACE NUMBERS Participants are required to collect race number on the day at registration which opens at 0800am for walkers and 0830am for runners. Please note, the gate at Nowton Park should be opened earlier than 0800am and we'll post an update when confirmed.
FIRST AID First aiders will be present at the Start/Finish and along the course. If you’re in need of medical assistance, please alert the nearest marshal and prompt assistance will be provided.
FAMILY & FRIENDS Supporters are more than welcome to this event. Please pass on the details from your final info email to any supporters coming along on the day so they can follow & support you safely.
MEDALS There will be medals for all finishers
AID STATIONS There will be two aid stations along the route which supply refreshments. If it is warm on race day, an additional water station will be added
TOILETS & CHANGING Toilets are available at the Start/Finish area and along the route. There are no changing facilities at the Start/Finish venue.
BAGGAGE We will be able to transport one small bag per entrant from the start to the finish - you will be unable to access these at the checkpoints during the race.PARKING Start (Nowton Park) - £3 for anything over 2 hours and you can pay by cash, card or the RingGo App. (STC)Finish (Clare Castle Country Park). There are 88 spaces available and parking is £5 for the day and you can pay by cash, card or the RingGo App.TRANSPORT We will be running pre-event transport on race morning from Clare Country Park to the start at Nowton Park and this will be £13.50 per entrant. More details on the timings of this transport to follow but please arrange to car share where possible.
